See me Roar!!!

Well actually you won't often see me roar and I don't expect this cute little tiger roars very loud either.

Its some time since I sat and coloured and made a card just because.  I have to say it was very pleasant.  I have been practising colouring fur so chose this image from LeeHIllustrations available on etsy.  Its super cute and when I started colouring it without doing the face I was unsure whether it was a child dressed as a tiger.  It so easily could be coloured that way.  May have to do another version.

The image is coloured in pencil.  Its not a quick process but its satisfying.  The background is done using distress oxides and a fern leaf stencil.  Its subtle but thats what I wanted. The grass is also coloured in pencil.

My design is simple.  A die cut circle from some green card stock which I stencilled using the fern leaf again.  The sentiment is popped up on foam and I added a few green sequins to finish it off.

The circle die and tropical leaf stencil are both from Frantic Stampers own brand.

I have to say he's somewhat cute!!!

I'n popping this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge
use a Die/Punch

See you soon

Karen, this is sooooo cute! I so wish this was in the Whimsy range, as I think he's gorgeous! I have the lion one and just coloured up a super sweet fox of Lee's. His images are enchanting and you've done an amazing job colouring him up with stripes! Stunning colour work Karen. Love the stencilled leaves too. Gorgeous hun. Hugs, Wends xoxo
