30 day colouring challenge comes to an end

Another fabulous 30 day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Rac has come to an end.  Amazing as usual and loaded with inspiration.  I didn't get to participate every day but I enjoyed all the creations  posted by Kathy and the talented participants.  Bring on the next one I say!!!  This is my final contribution a little Stacey Yacula stamp partnered with a stamp to say thanks to Kathy and her team of ambassadors and all the lovely people who took the time to visit me here and on Instagram, especially my great friend Birdie.  Crafty people are awesome.

Bye for now

Christmas is coming!!!!

Yikes its nearly December and I am so not ready for christmas.  This year has been so very busy and gone so very fast and yes its true christmas is coming.  In an effort to get that very real thought in my head I made a christmas card.  This little cutie is from Kennedy Grace Creations and is aimed at being a little sneak of things to come.

Now I need to go really think about christmas and start some lists.

See you back soon

Warmest Wishes!!

I've been in a bit of a creative slump lately.  You know the sort when nothing other works out or comes up to scratch.  I have coloured several images over the past week but none of them seemed worthy of being viewed publicly.  So I decided to take out my trusty Stacey Yacula Stamps of which I love yet don't get to use as often as I should.  I created this little scene using 4 different stamps. Coloured it in pencil and couldn't stop till it was made into a card.  And.....I think it turned out great so hoping thats the end of the slump.

See you soon.

Grateful

Today I am sharing a card using two Kennedy Grace Creations stamp sets, Graces Happy Heart and You Inspire Me. I stamped several blooms onto a piece of card and coloured them using Derwent Coloursoft pencils, before die-cut the fishtail banners.  Its another way to stretch those stamps and use them a little differently.  I added some sequins and beads from Isabella's Dream mix to finish off.

I  have used the clean and layered style for this card as inspired by the challenge at the Card Concept #62 Thanksgiving.

Thanks for stopping by I really am Grateful for you.

My Little Pony

Barnyard was released by Frantic Stamper on the 1 November.  Its loaded with cute stitched and more traditional farm animals and everything from barns to grass edgers and milk cans.  Something for everyone.

This card features the super cute little Stitched Horse, although I used it as a pony for a baby card. I love the little patches on its back and I added a little bow to its neck.  I used the Lovely Loop Edger die along the bottom (one of my favourites) to add some interest.  The circle is cut using the Stitched Circle die set.

Frantic Stamper dies always cut so perfectly and have lovely details.  I can't recommend them enough.

Frantic Stamper are also have a DT call.  All the details are on the blog HERE.

Thanks for your visit today

Have a Happy Day

I really hope you are having a Happy Day.

Seems I may have been ignoring my blog but really I haven't.  We have had internet issues for about 6 weeks now.  First it would go down occassionaly the it became more frequent that we had no internet until finally it stopped altogether.  All throughout this time I was contacting our provider and being told to do the same thing each time.  I tried suggesting that maybe the modem was faulty...what do I know.  Eventually I gave up and went into a store for said provider and the gentleman sold me a modem  I came home plugged it in and touch wood all has been fine since.

So I do have some posting to catch up on as its too hard to blog via my phone.

This card is made using the darling wee deer from the stamp set called Oh Deer! by Your Next Stamp.  I have only recently discovered this company as Frantic Stamper has just started stocking their stamps and dies.  I couldn't resist getting this set and I have a few more on my wish list.

I used the YNS sketch challenge for inspiration.  It kind of loosely also fits the colour challenge but I'm going to stick to the Sketch.  I haven't "done" cute in a while and I realise I really missed it.

Hope to see you back again soon
