Pretty Fringes

Today I am sharing a card using the Fringe and Tassel die from the April Frantic Stamper Release.  This die is so much fun not only can you use it as a fringe but you can use it to make a hassle.  Thats Clever!!

For my card I chose pretty pastel colours in layers forming a lovely rainbow effect.  The beauty of this die is you can cut your strip of paper to the desired length and cut your fringe.  I paired the fringe with a plaid paper in similar colours and added a little flower posy over the ribbon.  I cut a banner and stamped my sentiment and finished with a few sequins for some sparkle.

This is such a unique and wonderfully fresh card! I've never seen fringe used in quite this way before and I love how it turned out. The colors are so lovely and I would never have thought to cut plaid paper into fringe in the first place, but it works perfectly! Thank you for sharing something so inspirational here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
