Shaker Card...A first

Well I finally did it....I made a shaker card.   I was a little intimidated by these but actually, as many things are, its not as hard as it looks.

I was inspired by both Paper Sweeties Red white and Blue challenge and Spiegelmom Scraps sketch and birthday challenge.

I used Paper Sweeties Stitched tags for the shaker added some lovely Paper Sweeties spring mix sequins and tied it with Strawberry seam binding.  I also popped in some stars from my stash.  Now I have made one I think I shall have to make more.  Its a fun thing to do!!

Before I go I would like to welcome my new followers this week.  Thanks so much for joining me and I hope you stop by often.  Its lovely to have you in my crafty world.

How cute this is! Just the tags, alone are fabulous--especially the shaker tag!!! And, I love the polka dots and gingham together, too. Thanks so much for playing along with us in the Paper Sweeties Red, White, and Blue Challenge!
