Kennedy Grace Sweet Rose

The Kennedy Grace Creations stamp set I am featuring today is called Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose.  Such a gorgeous detailed rose along with some lovely sentiments.

I coloured the rose in soft pink with accents of yellow to represent a rose in my garden called Claude Monet.  I kept the card design pretty simple as the rose deserves all the focus.   I stamped the rose and sentiment in brown ink, as I didn't want the outlines to overpower the colouring.  I wanted a soft delicate look.  Finishing touch is a few Kennedy Grace sequins called peaches and cream.

Make sure you pop over to the Kennedy Grace Blog to see all the stamps featured in the Grand Opening and stunning inspiration from the design team.
I promise you will enjoy it.

Kennedy Grace Tea Set Tea Cups

This is the last card I would like to share using the products release at the Kennedy Grace Creations Grand Opening.  I'm so very blessed to be a part of this great company and to be able to participate in such a wonderful celebration.  This stamp set, if I had to pick one, is probably my favourite from the release.

I used the Tea cup and one of the small roses to stamp the background for this card.  I guess I made my own paper.  I always stamp the card a little bigger than intended so when you cut it down you get a continuous all over pattern .  I chose the classic green and red colour for my china cups.  Then I dotted sequins from the new mix aptly called, Vintage Tea Cup,  there is also a bronze gold colour in this mix . I hope you have enjoyed this release and have managed to get to the Kennedy grace Blog for loads of wonderful additional inspiration.

Thanks for joining me today.

Sweet Recipe

I have been featuring Frantic Stamper Inc's Mom's Kitchen release over the past little while and today is the final card I made for this release featuring the Recipe die.  This die also comes with a Menu die.  Perfect if you are making menus for a dinner party or perhaps a wedding, or maybe just a fun special dinner with the family at home.

I have made a tag card with a pocket for placing a recipe, whether it be on a little tag or written on paper and folded up.

I had a small piece of patterned paper with kitchen utensils on it from long ago, but after this release I wish I had more of it. For my embellishment I used the Oven Mitt & Pot Holder Die from the same release and the whisk from the Mixing Bowls set, also from the Mom's Kitchen release.  The "sweet" word I found in my stash.  The red borders are cut using, what has become a firm favourite, the scalloped Border Die set.

Wouldn't this be a really nice way to swap or share a favourite recipe.

Kennedy Grace Tea Set Tea pot

I just love this Vintage Tea Set from Kennedy Grace Creations.   Its really easy to make it look old like vintage china.   Alternatively using brighter colours you can make it look a bit more modern like ceramic.  Whatever you choose its a great set.

For this card I kept it fairly simple.  I edge cut my white card stock (secretly- because I messed up my sentiment stamping,  I'm notorious at doing this).   I also wanted to add some interest to the white background so it all worked out in the end.  I coloured the tea pot and fussy cut it so I could pop it up on foam.  The sequins are called Springtime,  such a lovely mix of spring colours with these pretty little mauve flower sequins.

I 'd like to enter this in the challenge at The Card Concept #56 Sweet Tea

Pop back in a day or so as I have another card using the tea cup this time.
Bye for now.

Frantic Stamper Zap! Bam! Pow!

How fun is this die set?  Perfect for any kind of card for any person.  These are part of the recent "Your'e my Super Hero" Release from Frantic Stamper Inc.  I chose colours that would be perfect for a boy or a girl.  I cut the backing clouds in black and popped the words up with foam to give dimension.  Using a sentiment stamp from the superhero stamp set I stamped along the edge a few times to make a strip and choosing matching colours added a strip of paper down the side.

I can see loads of uses for these dies, really fun sentiments to have in any collection.

Lovely Lace

Todays post is a Frantic Stamper Inc post.

I love this die called Lacey Edger.  It was released on March 1st and is so elegant and pretty.  You can use this die to make a very quick and easy card.  It really can stand alone with very little else.  For my card I simply used white card and cut the lacey edge along the bottom and backed it in pink paper.  I stamped the sentiment which could be anything you like and added a strip of paper with a paper bow.  A couple of little sequins and its finished.  So easy yet so effective.  A must have die to add to any collection.

Kennedy Grace Hydrangea

Its going to be my pleasure to introduce over the next week or so the new products that were released during the Grand Opening of Kennedy Grace Creations.  Beautiful stamp sets and sequin mixes you are sure to love.

Today I'd like to share Beautiful Blooms - Hydrangea.  Its so pretty and really lovely to colour.    I stamped the blooms and sentiment in brown, although the sentiment could have been a little darker.  I wanted a watercolour look which I achieved using my pencils and a white gel pen to add accents to the centre of the flowers.   I coloured two of the blooms then placed one on top of the other after cutting it to fit the card.  The sequins are called springtime,  a pretty, soft, springtime mix.

Make sure you hop on over to the Kennedy Grace blog to see some gorgeous cards the rest of the team made using this stamp set.   I promise you its worth a look.

Thanks for your visit today.
