I love you valentines bears xo

And I hope you will love these little valentines bears too.

Carrying on from yesterday I'm sharing another card using the cute, alphabet bears due to be released by Lili of the Valley very soon.  If you missed my post from yesterday I shared a card using them to create a name.  Today I have used them to form a sentiment.  Whilst I had Valentines in mind this could be used any time of the year to remind someone special that you cherish them.  My bears are coloured in pencil and this time in greys.  Valentines so I went for pink letters.  Honestly they are the cutest little characters.  They will be such a useful collection to add to any stash.

These bears are around 1.5 inches in height and width, obviously some letters may be slightly thinner, but roughly thats the size.  They will be available as rubber stamps and digital stamps as well as pre coloured simply print images, perfect if you don't want to or  don't have time to colour.  Rumour has it the release date is the 24th November so you may want to mark your calendar.

I was right huh?  They are very cute.
Pop back tomorrow for another card using a single letter.

See you soon

Calling all Bear Lovers!!

Yes thats right calling all Bear lovers for an overdose of bears and cuteness over the next few days.  Lili of the Valley are releasing a whole alphabet of bears very soon.  From A to Z theres a bear for everyone and every occasion.  You can create words, names and sentiments for anything you can think of.  These are so much fun and so useful.

I have 3 cards to share over the next few days all featuring the Alphabet bears and all for different occasions.  Trust me when I say you are going to love them!

First up is a card featuring a name.  Maya is my daughters bestie and she has just had a birthday which I actually missed with this card, but she is about to leave to visit her grandfather in Japan so this card can will still be used to contain a lovely friendship message.

I wanted my bears close together and achieved this with some simple masking.  These little cuties are coloured using pencil.  My card design uses the bears as the feature with some matching design paper and a little bow as a finishing touch.

They're very cute, right?
Be sure to pop back and visit tomorrow
as I have another card to share, this time with valentines in mind.

See you then

Holly Joy

My card today features two of the new release dies from Frantic Stamper Inc.  Holly Oval and JOY.

I cut an oval from the patterned paper and popped it up on foam with a dark green card stock behind. I then placed the holly oval die cut on top to give it some dimension.  As the paper had little gingham berries I continued this onto the cut out.  The next die I used is JOY which has three separate letters which enables you to place them however you like but I opted for in a line and added a little sprig of holly to the O.  I chose a country feel for my card but both these dies could be made to look very elegant.

Thoroughly Modern Miss Calendar

As promised here is the calendar I have made using March and April, so far.  These are all digital stamps which makes this kind of project easy to design.  Each month has a little stamp that describes characteristics and star signs .  I have incorporated these into my calendar pages. I have made the months on cards to sit on an easel.  This design could easily be bound but I like the easel idea.

These dig stamps are available from LOTV Monday 23rd October.  There is a thoroughly modern miss for each month and trust me they are fun to colour.

Thanks for stopping by today now off you go to Lili of the Valley.

See you again soon

Thoroughly Modern Miss March

These images are just fantastic.  They are being released as digits and simply print pre printed images  Monday 23rd October.  Something a little different for LOTV but I think they are going to be a hit.

I did a little bit of masking with the sentiment so it goes over the girls feet, just for something different.  I also cut around part of her handbag, again for a little bit of interest.  These images really need very little to enhance them they are perfect for CAS cards.

Pop on over to Lili of the Valley to see all the lovely girls.
And pop back here tomorrow I have a calendar to share
using March and April Girls.

See you then

Thoroughly Modern Miss September

As promised here's another of the about to be released Modern Misses from LOTV

Please welcome Miss September.

Isn't she great in her little knitted dress and long boots.  Really love her and what a delight to colour.  I'm sure these images are going to be a big hit.  Available Monday 23rd October in Digi stamp and Simply print pre coloured images.  There are 12 in total, one for each month of the year.  Love those "Born in" sentiments too.

These images really need very little adornment, they make such a statement by themselves.  They really lend themselves to clean and simple style perfectly.

Go check out the others at Lili of the Valley.

Come back soon
