Christmas Take III

Here is the third little card made using one of the about to be releases Lili of the Valley Christmas stamps.  Another gorgeous little creation called Little Gift.  I decided that I would go non traditional colours with this image but it ended up being a little difficult to turn the image into a card.  I love orange but of course it just clashed with all my Christmas papers.  Hadn't thought about that when I was rebelling against red and green.  So I ended up fussy cutting the characters and creating a little snow scene.  I think I saved it. I was determined to use it as it took so long to colour.

Now pop to the LOTV shop.
I challenge you to resist these cute little Christmas images.

Christmas Take II

Today I am sharing another Lili of the Valley Christmas card.  Another super adorable image being released Monday the 24th July.  Oh my you are going to love this release so much cuteness.  This one          is called Singing Robin.  I've coloured it in pencil and not really thinking coloured the bird house as part of the tree trunk which meant I had to be careful colouring my robin so he didn't get lost.

I then cut a frame and popped it up on foam, stamped  a sentiment and cut some sparkly silver snowflakes  with a small strip of silver down the side.

Mark your calendars for the 24th and pop to the store for a few more sneak peeks.

Hold on to your hat it's a Christmas card!!

I know right.... its the first one for the year.  Lili of the Valley are about to launch their Christmas stamps and if you love Christmas and you love cute, be assured you will not be disappointed.

This little cutie is called Mouse House.  Getting the decorations up on their wee watering can.    Its coloured in pencil with accents of wink of stella on the snow that doesn't show in the photo.  My layout is very simple as there is such a lot in the image I didn't want to take the focus away.  I chose blue paper over grey to lift the image and I always think blue and grey compliment each other so nicely.

There will be a couple more Christmas cards over the next day or so.
Make sure you pop back.

Thinking Of You!

Its my turn on the Kennedy Grace Blog today.

I'd like to share a card featuring Graces Little Notes stamp set. I chose a peaceful colour palette of muted pinks and blues with a little sparkle added with the Moonbeams sequin mix.   Perfect for a thinking of you card.  The sentiment tag is cut using Kennedy Grace Scalloped Stitched Rectangle die set.

Wave Tangle

Sharing another Underwater card today featuring one of the very awesome background stamps.  This one is called Wave Tangle and let me say its a lot of fun to colour.  If you know someone who like to colour these background stamps would make great pages.  This stamp especially could be coloured again and again and not look the same twice.  Perfect being 6 x 6 inches in size too.  I stamped it in blue ink and used blue shades with a pop of yellow.  This is cut down to a card panel so its not the entire stamp.

Cards for Little Hearts

Christina Hor is hosting her bi-annual cards for little hearts drive.  All the details can be found HERE The cards go to children born with congenital heart disease at her local hospital.  I made several that are on their way to Christina to bring a smile to a little one.

I used some Stacy Yacula stamps as they always make me smile.  Along with a Hugs die and some sparkly snowflakes.
