Feature a Creature

The latest challenge at Lili of the Valley is Feature a Creature.  There is an absolute abundance of adorable cute creatures at LOTV, so many its simply difficult to choose.  Alice is a recent release and has to be one of my all time favourites with her little bunny companion having ice cream.

I coloured her in pencil.  Aqua and pink are such a lovely colour combination.  I had a go at lighter hair than usual which I'm pretty happy with.  I kept the layout simple to show off the lovely image but looking at the photo I do wonder if it needs just a little something more.

Anyway pop to the challenge at LOTV and choose your favourite creature and join to win prizes.  All the details can be found HERE

Bye for now

Not a Yellow Submarine!

It may not be a yellow submarine but the song sure springs to mind. Its July so that means a new Frantic Stamper release.  This month were going under the sea with a wonderful selection of dies and stamps.

Today I am sharing a card using the Submarine, Rolling Wave Panel and Seaweed Corner.  Isn't that submarine just cute?  I added some clear drops to the windows and added some smaller ones for bubbles.  Hello seemed the perfect sentiment.

If you're a fan of the ocean you'll love this release.

Make A Wish

Todays card from Frantic Stamper featured the new Small Carousel Horse.  I die cut it in white card and then added colour with pencil.  I added a bit of glitter for some sparkle and some rhinestones around the saddle.  Such a pretty little die you could easily cut away the pole to use it as a horse.

Ticket to Ride

The new release from Frantic Stamper is called Summer Carnival Fun and included is this very cool little bumper car die.  You can customise to any colour scheme you like as all the little parts are cut separately for you to build your own version of the bumper car.  Its pretty cool huh?
I found this paper in my stash that was just perfect for this die.
Pop to the store to see all the other release dies for June.
Sure to be something for everyone.

Sending Love

Frantic Stampers have recently added 6 x 6 rubber background stamps to their product family.  These are wonderfull for making your own backgrounds and come in a variety of patterns.  I have used the new Clouds background stamp for my card.  I cut a window for the clouds to peep through.  Its accompanied by the paper plane and sending love/hugs dies to make a simple little card
