Sparkle at Southern Girls

Its time for a new challenge at Southern Girls and its one you'll love we want to see some "sparkle".  Be it glitter, sequins or stars, just anything that sparkles.

We are sponsored by Krafters Cart and I used a little monster from Gerda Steiner Designs Monster Fun stamp set. I turned her into a girl monster with a sparkly bow in her hair.  The sentiment is cut from silver glitter paper because its amazing.  More sparkle from the silver sequins.

I hope you'll get all your sparkles out and come join us.

See you at Southern Girls

It's your day!

Time for a Kennedy Grace post today featuring Graces Little Notes stamp set.

I stamped and coloured the image 3 times to place inside the little windows of the die.  Each image is placed slightly differently so the 3 windows are not exactly the same. I then chose a complimentary striped paper to put in the background, popping the cream panel up on foam tape.  The card  was all constructed when I realised I hadn't stamped the sentiment.  Stamping on a completed card with foam tape under the panel is not the ideal way to stamp.  Despite that its actually not too bad, a little crooked but not awful.

A Hand to Hold

Oh my goodness you really must mark the 20th May on your calendars for the new Lili of the Valley release.  There are so many gorgeous images coming.  This one is called a Hand to Hold.  Isn't it just so sweet?  I'm totally smitten with this one and several of the others in this release,  I know thats not hard with LOTV images.

Coloured using pencil with a few flowers fro embellishment.  I just think these images show off themselves without needing anything else.

Thank you

Todays card features one of the new word dies from Frantic Stamper.  "Thank you" in a lovely brush script. I love how its 2 separate words giving way more versatility.

I used the previously released Japanese Paper Doll die which is really adorable. I love how you can piece her together and change her hairstyle.   Another favourite die is the Chevron Border and Edger which I used top and bottom to complete this cheery thank you card.

Flower Garden

Today I am sharing a card using one of the lovely new Frantic Stamper background stamps called Flower Garden. These are lovely big stamps that cover a big 6 x 6 inches. Not only can they be used as a background stamp but they can be coloured and used as design paper.

For my card I fussy cut around some of the image. I also used the new Sending Hugs/love word die popped up on foam with the addition of sequins for a bit of sparkle.

There are 6 of these background stamps in the May release so pop to the store to take a look. Amazingly Fran hand makes these which is awfully clever.

Happy Birthday Lili of the Valley

Lili of the Valley are turning 13 on the 10th of May.  Thats an amazing effort in the often difficult world of crafting.  They are constantly coming up with the most adorable and cute images that just never disappoint. Its a pleasure and a privilege to create with such lovely images and to be part of the LOTV Design Collective.

To celebrate there's a Facebook challenge going on themed "Birthdays".  Here's the link.

I used one of the 3 stamps from the trio called Bunny Wishes for my card.

Happy Birthday LOTV and thanks
for stopping by today.

Introducing Alice

Lili of the Valley are about to launch some adorable new stamps and amongst them is Alice.  She's just such a cute little addition to the LOTV family.

Today I am sharing Alice Ice cream.  Its just such an endearing image I decided not to fussy her up with too much embellishing,  I just like her how she is and hope you do to.

The next launch is the 20th May so mark your calendars, you really won't want to miss it.
