Introducing Alice

Lili of the Valley are about to launch some adorable new stamps and amongst them is Alice.  She's just such a cute little addition to the LOTV family.

Today I am sharing Alice Ice cream.  Its just such an endearing image I decided not to fussy her up with too much embellishing,  I just like her how she is and hope you do to.

The next launch is the 20th May so mark your calendars, you really won't want to miss it.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge

Today I am sharing a card made for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 405.  Frantic Stamper Inc are sponsors and we were asked to be guests for this challenge.  How exciting is that!

We had this very gorgeous photo for inspiration using the colours spring, pink and orchid.

My card is made using several different Frantic Stamper dies and stamp sets.  The image has lots of texture so I replicated this using pearls, sequins and seed beads.  The background is hand stamped.  I then cut an oval and popped it up on foam as the base for the flowers.

I hope you will come join the challenge.

Audrey Hepburn said.....

Audrey Hepburn said  "The best thing to hold onto in life is each other".

I'm up on the Kennedy Grace Creations blog today sharing this card using the Time to Bloom stamp set accompanied by Sunshine on the Daises sequin mix.

I simply stamped the flower spring 3 times along the edge of a piece card.  I placed the stamp carefully thus avoiding the need for masking, yes I was being lazy but why mask if you don't need to?
I then coloured the blooms in pencil and stamped my sentiment.  The coloured piece is then cut to size and edged with a small strip of dark brown and a complimentary paper.

Finishing touch a scattering of sequins .

Congrats....

The recent Frantic Stamper release is called Dads and Grads.   To date I have not had a cause to make a graduation card so making this was a bit of a challenge.

I used several dies and they are listed below.  I stamped the background behind the Vertical Congrats to add a bit more fun.  I posted a card a couple of weeks back featuring the Fringe & Tassel Maker.  Todays card uses the die to make a tassel for the mortarboard.  Its a very clever little die.

Beautiful Day

Its my turn on the Kennedy Grace blog today and I am sharing a card using the Beautiful Bloom - Sweet Rose.  This is one of my favourite Kennedy Grace stamps its so pretty and lovely to colour. It looks beautiful in any colour.

For this card I chose a black and white striped paper to go in behind the soft pink rose paper.  I then fussy cut the rose to go on the top.  The sequins are from the Watermelon Spritzer mix, the bright melon colour although pink seemed to match perfectly with the rose.  The rose is coloured using pencil.

I used the photo challenge at Inspired by all the Little Things for my inspiration.

Big Car Road Trip

This die is just so much fun.  Its from Frantic Stamper and called Big Car.  It cuts not only the pieces to make the front of a car but also the pieces for a back view.  SO versatile for masculine, bon voyage, wedding car projects and may more.  I cut the car from red card stock and the accessories from black and added glossy accents to the bumper and lights.  I found this perfect paper in my stash called Road Trip from Prima and with a little cutting and pasting created the background.  I then added the word FUN to the number plate.

Its pretty cool isn't it?
