Happy Gator wishes

Now aren't these little gators cute.  Who would have thought such a word would describe an incredibly frightening creature.  Cute and alligator are not two words you would normally use in the same sentence but these Mom and Baby Gators are pretty sweet.   They are from the Frantic Stamper March release.

I cut the circle using Stitched Circles and created the flowers and foliage using Clear stamp sets Pretty Posies and Floral Blooms.  Matched it up with some plaid paper and a little twine bow.

Splendid Roses go Retro

I have a Kennedy Grace Creations post to share today.  A card using Splendid Roses coloured a little retro.  I used pencil to colour the roses choosing orange and pink a classic retro combination.  Its fussy cut and simply placed on top of a grey and white stripe to give it some impact.  I then aded sequins from the Mocha Vanilla Latte mix.

Mom and Baby Ducklings

Today I am sharing another card from the Sweet Baby release at Frantic Stamper.  Look at these cute little ducks aren't they sweet.  I've put all my ducklings in a row but the set contains a left and a right facing duckling with beak and eyes but I chose to faux stitch around mine and keep them as silhouettes.  Its a fairly simple card layout but I love the softness of it.  Perfect for a little new born.

Wishing you sunny days

Today I am sharing another new stamp from Lili of the Valley called Spring Seesaw.  How gorgeous is this little bunny.  The "wishing you sunny days" sentiment just seemed perfect. I just added a few sequins and a strip of yellow gingham to finish it off.

The March challenge is "flowers" and so many LOTV images fit this theme that you will be totally spoilt for choice.  Click HERE for the link and challenge details and of course there are wonderful prizes.

Easter Chick

This little cutie is from the latest Lili of the Valley release and is called Easter Chick.  My version is the Digi but its also available in Rubber and in pre coloured Simply Print image sheets.  Its coloured in  Derwent Coloursoft pencil.

I hand doodled around the oval to add a little bit of whimsy and added a little paper bow along the bottom.

I guess because Easter images are about and eggs are in the supermarket that Easter can't be far away,  jeepers wasn't it Christmas just last week?

Little Prince

The March release at Frantic Stamper is Sweet Baby and jeepers are there some sweet dies to play with.  This card uses three new dies. Rocking Chair, Little Dresser and Little Prince/Princess.  I've tried to create a little bedroom scene with the way I have placed the elements on the card.   I've used soft pastel blue and white such a classic boy combination.  I just love the detail on the rocking chair and dresser.  Such cool and affordable little dies.

Go check out all the other lovely dies in this collection.

New LOTV stamps out now

You really must take a look at the new release at Lili of the Valley.  Some gorgeous wedding and love themed trios and adorable little critters.  LOTV now offer digi stamps as well as the traditional rubber stamps and simply print image sheets, perfect for those times when you need a card and don't have the time to colour an image.

This card features the "Hooray" trio.  I used 2 of the trios on the background of my card printed in grey and reduced in size and featured the third one as a coloured image.  A fun way to use all three images on one card.

See you back soon.
