I wish....the weather here is only good if you look like a duck, quack like a duck, or in fact are a duck.

This little cutie is a digi set from Gerda Steiner Design called Beachgirl.  The papers are from Lili of the Valley  Up, Up and Away Collection.

Today I am sharing my first card for the LOTV Design Collective for May.

This gorgeous image is from a pre coloured Art Pad called Jsck, Patch and Puss which can be purchased in either a Taster Pack (1 of each design) or an Art Pad (3 of each design).

The papers are from the Always and Forever Collection 

The sentiment is from the General Greetings Small set.

I added a few little embellishments just to finish it off.

Happy (inter) National Scrapbook Day

Happy NSD all!

Jody Spiegelhoff, owns SpiegelMom Scraps! And one of her lovely Design Team Sparklers, Louise Forsyth is a co-owner of the Southern Girls Challenge Blog.  Louise and Jody thought having their Design Teams join forces for this weekend would be loads of fun.   I think they were so right.  

Stop a while and enjoy some projects made using products from Spieglemom Scraps.

First a layout:

The paper is from Magiczna Kartka with additional stencilling using Gesso, sentiment is a project life card.  All the additional embellishments (including the washi tape used to cover the card behind the photo) are available from Jody's store.

The beautiful crocheted roses inspired me to keep this card white on white with just a touch of colour from the hearts and sequins.  Behind the roses is a pleated (scrunched) doily, all available from SpiegelMom Scraps

 Finally a mini album made using one sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock.  The Design Paper is from Maya Design.  The embellishments, tags, washi tape and other embellishments are from Jody.  The little chipboard oval on the cover was from a freebie set that came with a magazine.

LOTV Design Collective April Cards

Hi and thanks for stopping by my new, improved, updated, fresher looking  blog.  Complete with a new watermark for my cards.  I had some very appreciated help from the lovely Nikki at Creative Junkeez and the wonderful BloggerCandy.

So yes indeed the supplies arrived.  It was a bit like christmas really, everything is so lovely. You can check out all the Lili of the Valley products HERE .

These are the two cards I have created for the LOTV Design Collective for April.

Card One

Stamps used ST325 Present Trio and ST063 Small General Greetings.  

Paper collection used Bonnets and Bowties both the Design pad and the Solids pad.

Waiting for supplies....

Yes I am waiting for my Lili Of The Valley  supplies to arrive so I can start creating for the Collective.  LOTV have a special running for the next 5 days, get a free paper pad details HERE.

In the meantime I put together this little card using a little LOTV fairy called On Tip Toes. The papers are from an old Prima Collection. The sentiment is a Paper Smooches Wise Die and the banner die is from Poppy Stamps.

Now I can sit back and wait patiently for all my goodies to arrive.
